I met Hollywood Clay while bartending at Coach's Bar & Grill in Norman, Oklahoma as a student at OU. I have been in the hospitality industry for 15 years, and Clay is still the most generous patron I have come across and one of the most memorable human beings I have been privileged to meet. His It's My Life album still plays in rotation in our home, as his gregarious enthusiasm for life and people always brings a smile to my face. That encompassing spirit was impactful even on a stranger like myself in the handful of times I encountered him, so I can only imagine the light he has brought to the lives of his family and friends. Best wishes to the family.

Not only was Clayton a great friend, he was also my boss for 4 years. We spent some great times together, both in the factory, and many, many dinners together. He would always call when he was in the Chicago area to meet up and catch up. I was fortunate enough to be in New Lisbon to say my goodbyes on 3/26/17 and was not surprised to see the huge crowds coming to bid this wonderful human being farewell. To Ava, Moriah, Shane & families my deepest condolences for your loss. He will be missed by many!

Hollywood was a wonderful man who never met a stranger. He always had a kind word for anyone he met, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
He was one of a kind and will truly be missed.
I will always remember him being on stage and entertaining the crowd - he was a true showman.
Our prayers go out to his family, with much love.

Clayton was thee BEST "outlaw" there ever was. He had a light around him wherever he went....I'm just thankful to have known him.
He loved everyone, more importantly he made it Sooo very easy to love him back. Apparently "Hollywood" has a sold out show waiting for him in heaven ..... He may be gone, but one thing's for sure, He'll NEVER be forgotten.

Ava, Shane and Moriah and family - My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. I am so saddened to hear this news and can't imagine the shock for you. No one can ever say Claytie didn't live and love his life! I met him through the Fun Company and was blessed to call him my friend. I was traveling on Monday March 6th and randomly thought of him so I called him and we had the best chat. I am so very glad that I was able to tell him how much I treasured his friendship. My best to all of you. In sympathy, Deb
