Dana M. Pharo, age 28 of Madison WI, formerly of Mauston, WI died on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Agrace Hospice Care, in Fitchburg WI.  Dana was the daughter of David and Cheryl (Deringer) Pharo, and was born on December 25, 1988 in Mauston. 

Dana was born and raised in Mauston.  She was a Mauston High School graduate of the class of 2007.  Dana was first diagnosed with cancer in 2007.  Then Dana received many surgeries and chemotherapy and was cancer free for the next 9 years.

Dana was a fun loving, free spirited girl, who loved to go to the beach, and out for dinner and drinks with her friends.  Dana also loved to travel. 

She is survived by her parents, David (Cheryl) Pharo, of Mauston, a sister, Rhonda Dennis, and her two children Harper and Tanner of Prairie Du Sac, a brother, Michael (Shenna) Peterson of Madison, her paternal grandmother, Jean Pharo of Mauston, her Aunts and Uncles, Nancy (Andy) Pharo of Hartford, Patti (John) Rothrock of Mauston, Debbie Vanselow of Mauston, Kris (Bill) Lalk  of Mauston, Lisa (Chuck) Bennett of Mauston, Steve (Robynn) Deringer of Wausau, Donna (Bob) Resch of New Lisbon, Sandy Kiwazek of Tomah, and by many other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 11:00AM at the New Lisbon Community Center (110 Welch Prairie Rd) in New Lisbon.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the New Lisbon Community Center on Sunday November 19th from 2:00pm until 6:00pm.  Burial will take place in the New Lisbon City Cemetery.  Pastor Deb Burkhalter presiding.  Memorials to, Friends and Family Cancer Foundation (PO Box 8, Mauston, WI 53948) would be appreciated.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
