Daniel A. “Danny” Kuntz, age 58, of Necedah passed away unexpectedly June 11th 2017. Danny was the son of Richard and Irene (Kariya) Kuntz, he was born on January 12th 1959 in Chicago IL. Danny attended the Necedah Area Public School, he worked on a family owned dairy farm for 40 years, and at the time he currently worked for Docking Solutions, while also working at The Reel Inn with his close friends. Danny was business partners with his best friend with the campground and lodging.
Danny was a very courageous man with a big heart; God broke the mold when he created this wonderful man. He was humorous and always made everyone smile with his silly jokes. He was a very good kind-hearted man, always made sure that everyone was taken care of. He would give the shirt off his back to any friend or stranger that was in need of help. Danny was also known by his nicknames; Jethro (for his unique binder twine and zip tied trouser belt), Bruce Lee, Daniel son, and Shirtless Dan.
He is survived by his best friend Michele Baumel and family of New Lisbon, his mother Irene of Necedah, his brothers Donald (Katie Rowley) Kuntz, Dean, and Frank of Necedah, his sister Debbie Sauter of Necedah, his sister Vickee (Gary) Rose of New Lisbon, two nephews; Joey Sauter, Jaxson Kuntz and niece Ava Kuntz. He was preceded in death by his father Richard in 2008 and his sister Diane Herdon.
Celebration of his life will be held on Monday June 26th at the Reel Inn(N9671 Hwy 80, Necedah, WI). Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm, with service at 6:00 pm. The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.
