Edward H. Southworth, age 92, of New Lisbon, WI., died on Thursday, November 17, 2017 at his home.  Edward was the son of Fred and Lillie (Wonderly) Southworth, and was born on January 15, 1924, in New Lisbon, WI.  Ed attended the New Lisbon School, and later joined the United States Army, serving during WWII.  Edward was later united in marriage to Lauretta “Bootie” Nichols on February 10, 1946 in Mauston, WI.  Edward lived most of his life in New Lisbon, with one year in Lake Geneva.  Ed loved fishing, trapping, hunting, camping, and his grandchildren. 

Edward is survived by his children: Diana (Ron) Berry, of New Lisbon, James Southworth, of Onalaska, Joan (Dan) Darnill, of Mauston, Michael (Pat) Southworth, of New Lisbon, his grandchildren, Dan (Cathy Jo) Berry, Michael (Tracey) Berry, Jeff (Holly) Berry, Andy (Stacey) Berry, Shannon Southworth, Jennifer (Kris) Malphy, Janell (Scott) Haske, Lauretta (Tim) Bliss, Cody Brokopp, Jason Southworth, Jeremy (Vanessa) Southworth, great grandchildren: Joseph (Maggie) Berry, Danielle (Ethan) Berry, Hunter and Keegan Berry, Rhys and Kensley Berry, Scout, Fletcher, and Aspen Berry, Braeden and Claire Haske, Brock and Jake Malphy, Eden Brokopp and Eva Bliss, Zoie and Hailey Brokopp, Gavin Southworth, great great granddaughters: Harper and Eva Berry, a sister Mary Richardson, of New Lisbon, a sister in law Doris Southworth, brother in law, Leo Nichols, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lauretta, brothers, Raymond, Harold, and Loren, brothers in law, and sisters in law. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 21, 2016 at 10:00AM at the New Lisbon Community Center (110 Welch Prairie Rd).  Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, and at the Community Center on Monday from 9:00am until the time of service.  Pastor Deb Burkhalter presiding.  Burial with Military Honors will take place at the New Lisbon City Cemetery.
