Elizabeth J. “Betty” De Lap, age 78 of Camp Douglas, WI, died on Saturday May 27, 2017 at the Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston, WI.  Betty was born on August 28, 1938 on the family farm in the town of Oakdale in Monroe County, WI, to Clayton H. and Elizabeth G. (Laufenberg)Roberts, Vinz, Roder.   She attended the Tomah Public Schools.   Betty was united in marriage to George F. De Lap on November 26, 1955 at St. James Catholic Church in Camp Douglas.  After their marriage Betty and George worked for the Cutler Cranberry Company for short time.  George later took a job working for General Motors and he and Betty moved to Janesville, WI.  Betty, was employed by Kennedy Mills in Janesville for 27 years.  Betty and George retired and moved back to Camp Douglas in 1991, and George preceded her in death in 2015.

Betty was a member of the Camp Douglas American Legion Auxiliary and of the Cutler Fire Department Auxiliary.  Betty loved her grandchildren, she enjoyed crocheting, hunting, fishing, bird watching, camping with friends, and watching the Brewers and Packers.

Betty is survived by her daughter Sharon (Greg Grzesinski) Paszek of Camp Douglas WI, a son David (Terri) De Lap of Janesville WI, a son Kenneth (Robin) De Lap of Athens WI, her sister Janet (Richard) Wills of New Lisbon WI, brother Richard (Gail) Vinz of Janesville WI, brother James (Rita) Vinz of Janesville WI, a sisters-in-law, Louise Vinz of New Lisbon WI, and Leah Roberts of DeSoto WI, Linda Downing of Janesville WI, Betty Fike of Camp Douglas WI, and by 8 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandchildren.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 great grandchild, 4 brothers, Dean Vinz, Kenneth Roberts, Tony Roberts, and Emery Roberts, and sisters Elva Baldwin and Isabel Klein.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St.) New Lisbon, WI.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Hare Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00p.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery in the town of Cutler.  Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com
