Gerald E. Tremelling, age 80, of New Lisbon, died on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Tomah, WI.  Gerald was the son of John and Laura (Butteris) Tremelling, and was born on February 09, 1936 in the town of Linden, Wisconsin.   Gerald was united in marriage to Shirley M. Glenn, on February 14, 1959 in Waukon, Iowa.  After their marriage they lived in Tomah, WI., until 1965 when they moved to New Lisbon, WI.  Gerald worked as a custodian for the New Lisbon School district for 25 years. Gerald enjoyed watching WWE, playing cards, and taking care of his son Rick, and late wife Shirley. 

Gerald is survived by his children; Gary (Sharon) Tremelling, of Wisconsin Dells, Susan Tremelling, of New Lisbon, Jeff (Loudres) Tremelling, of Mauston, Ricky Tremelling, of New Lisbon, a sister Zola Finch, 5 Grandsons: Brian (Hollie) Slater, Justin Tremelling, Gary Diaz, Jerry Diaz, Jacob Tremelling, and by 6 great grandchildren: Bailey, Hannah, Cael, Zalei Marie, Kandyce, Elena .  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley, a daughter Robin Diaz, and a grandson James Karnan, and three sisters, Ruby Fox, Virginia Olson, and Melba.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00AM, at the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon (217 W. Pearl St).  Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 until the time of service.  Pastor Deb Burkhalter presiding.  Burial will take place in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
