Jean A. Eldred

Jean Ann Eldred, age 60, of Camp Douglas died on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at Gundersen Medical Center in La Crosse, WI.  She was the daughter of Gerald and Shirley (Fowler) Eldred.   Jean graduated from Mauston High School in 1975, and then attended Eau Claire Technical College for 2 years.  Jean was retired from Farnham Industries in Necedah where she worked for 20 years in assembly and as a forklift operator.

Jean enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews because she never had any children of her own. Jean liked to sketch and draw, and crochet, she has made afghans for all her nieces and nephews.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #133 of Camp Douglas of which she was a past secretary and treasurer.  She enjoyed going to the school on Veterans Day to assist with the services with the children and was active in the Armed Forces Day Celebration.

Jean is survived by 3 siblings; Paul (Lea) Eldred of  Waseca MN,  Julie (Matthew) Schultz of Waupaca WI,  and Susan (Jr.) Bush of Kendall WI,  and by Jean’s special friend Lee,  and by nieces and nephews; Sarah (Dean) Johnson, Aaron (Brieann) Eldred, Gerald (Rachael) Eldred, Glen (Gabi) Bush, Amanda (Jeremiah) Smith, Jennifer (Adam) Clough, and Craig (Lesa) Larson, and by many great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grand parents and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 11:00A.M. at the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon.  Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00A.M. until the time of service.  Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.  Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com
