Leo A. Hamilton age 78 of New Lisbon, Wisconsin died on Thursday September 7, 2017 at Crest View Nursing Home in New Lisbon.  Leo was the son of Marvin and Irene (Hayes) Hamilton and was born on December 27, 1938 in Mauston, WI. 

He was united in marriage to Dawn Rose Larson on June 6, 1976 in Rhinelander, WI.  The couple moved to Waukesha, WI and lived there several years before moving to Lyndon Station and then New Lisbon for the last 20 years.  Leo was a Semi-Truck Driver for more than 40 years.  He loved hunting, working on cars and Football, PACKERS & BADGERS!!

 

He had a loving heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He loved the Lord and trusted and relied on HIM when he was on the road.  After traveling over a million miles he has now taken his most adventurous journey to live with his Lord.

 

Leo is survived by his loving wife Rose Hamilton, daughters, Teresa Smith and Michelle Hamilton, both of New Lisbon, an “adopted” son Matthew Hoffner of Iowa, a foster daughter Patricia Coleman, and her 3 sons of West Virginia, 2 grandchildren, Dustyn Smith and Briana Smith both of Mauston, a brother, Harlan Hamilton of Rockford, IL, a sister Gloria Willey of Baraboo, WI, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and adopted kids.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Arzie and Navarro Hamilton.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St) in New Lisbon.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Hare Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of service.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
