Dear Mary and family, We are deeply saddened by your loss. Bob was such an easy guy to be with and made us feel so welcome every time we visited. Had been thinking of you so often in the past month or so as I finished off the last of my cranberry honey! Hope to see you before too long. Keep strong & well! Love, Sugar (and Jack too)

I only got to work with Bob for about a year but really enjoyed it. In the short time we knew each other I was able to gain a lot of knowledge from him regarding the park and recreation business. I am still employed by Miller and Associates and wanted to pass my condolences on to the family. I remember that he was very generous with his time and helped me understand the business that he had built. Paul Feldhake Miller and Assocites

It is with deep sadness that Rachel and I mark the passing of Uncle Bob. We visited him in our RV at his lakefront home last summer and he was the perfect gentleman - showing us his generous hospitality and his kind spirit. It was clear he was well loved in the community because everywhere we went it seemed that someone knew him and waved or wanted to talk to him. His spirit and connection to our family will be missed, and Rachel and I send our condolences to his family and friends. Love, Rachel and Timothy Burns

Mary and family: The measure of a life are the impressions they leave in others. Bob ("Boomer") left in us a "can do" attitude, both as a coach and later as a friend. We have thought of him often over the years. Our condolences are with you and the world shall miss him. Chuck and Norma (Atkinson) Spencer Mauston High School - Class of 1964

Dear Mary, Julie, Michael and Debbie - I just want you to know that your husband/father was a big part of my life growing up and I loved being around him while hanging out with Julie. He was always funny and even after we graduated High School I continued to see him at the lake where he was always wearing a smile and giving me some grief!! All in fun, of course. Thank you for always making me feel comfortable at your house, Bob. You will be missed by many and always have a special place in my heart. Love, Sue

Sincerest thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Bob was my stepbrother-in-law for many years. After the death of my husband, Richard Lee, Bob was still my stepbrother-in-law and dear stepson of Elva. I'm glad that we were able to visit with him and Mary this past summer. He was a fun-loving and vibrant man who will be sorely missed by all. Our love, Stephen and Diane Flanders
