Stephen H. Scholl

Stephen Scholl, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  He was born in Middletown, Ohio the son of J. Dewey and Margaret (Hamilton) Scholl.

He served in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed by Dane County Human Services, retiring in 1995.  He married the former Audrey Arthur in 1978, enjoying 39 years of togetherness and activities. 

He enjoyed a good game of golf, fishing trips to Canada, many trips to Las Vegas, watching local stock car races and NASCAR, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cleveland Browns. 

Steve is survived by his wife Audrey of New Lisbon, brother Robert (Mary) Bassman of Middleton, WI, a nephew Timothy Scholl of Las Vegas, NV, and several family relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

We wish to thank Dr. Nathan Mustain and the staff at St. Claire Hospital, Baraboo, and the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, MICU and Cardiac for their care of Steve.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St) in New Lisbon.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday at the Hare Funeral Home from 10:00AM until the time of service. Rev. Wendy Ruetten presiding.   A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences available at www.harefuneralhom.com
