Our deepest condolences to everyone. Growing up and staying at Mike and Virgie's house was some of my greatest childhood memories. Mike was like a brother to me and Virgie was my second mom. It was my home away from home. Virgie never complained when we came home with lots of trout to put in her sink or a shot up squirrel or rabbit. Mike was always a better shot than me. Virgie had a recipe for it all and she could of beat Bobby Flay with any of them.
Even though the years have separated us, we have never lost the love and admiration in our hearts. God blessed everyone with many years of Virgie's presence. She will now finally receive her heavenly reward.

I was saddened by the news of Virgie's passing. She was always very sweet to my family and we loved being her neighbors. I remember her Grand Tourino and how she enjoyed it...and her little dog, Cookie, too. It was the sweetest thing when she drove down to visit with my parents for their 50th anniversary a few years ago. It meant a great deal to them. I hope that you have many warm memories that will surround you always. I will be thinking of you as you say goodbye to a fine lady.
