My sincere sympathy to the family of Dorothy Elsing. I remember the members of her family, husband, brothers, from being raised in Clifton Township, a grand place to grow up, outdoor movies & all!!! She was a lovely person & sounds like the true hard working farm wife as my mother Inga Olson Adrion was. Oh, how those ladies worked in the fields, prepared big meals for threshing crews, you name it - they were there to be depended on. I was lifting hay bales at a very young age, driving tractor in the fields, driving (or they driving me) horses on the hay wagons so I know some of the very hard work these ladies did & it was a very good learning experience but I could not keep up to those ladies with all they did if I had stayed, not to mention the hard work of the farmers themselves in the Clifton area. Bless their hearts & prayers to all the family in the loss of a lovely family member.
