Arlene J. (Haske) Elsing

Arlene Janet Elsing, age 82 of New Lisbon, WI died on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Tomah Nursing and Rehabilitation.  Arlene was the daughter of Arthur and Selma (Benson) Haske and was born on February 12, 1937. 

Arlene was born in Mauston, WI and raised in town of Fountain in Juneau County. She graduated from New Lisbon High School in 1955.  Arlene was united in marriage to Arland J. Elsing in 1956 in Iowa.

Arlene enjoyed gardening, flowers and did some sewing and quilting.  She loved to listen to county music.

Arlene is survived by her children, Jim (Joan) Elsing of Camp Douglas, John (Mary) Elsing of Kendall, Joel (Tracy) Elsing of Camp Douglas, a brother Douglas (Sonja) Haske of New Lisbon, a sister-in-law Georgeann Jacobson of New Lisbon, 6 grandchildren, Dustin, David (Jodi), Zoey , Jade, Jessa, Lindsey, 4 great grandchildren, Charlette, Mitchel, Madelyn, Emma, and by many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arland in 2001, and a sister Karen Stellick. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11:00AM at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (208 Allen Rd), New Lisbon, WI.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10:00AM until the time of service.  Inurnment will be in the Brewster Cemetery.  Pastor Matthew Kimmel presiding.
