Barry B. Bean, age 57, of Elroy, died suddenly on March 1, 2017 in Tomah, WI.  Barry was the 3rd child born to Herbert (Jerry) and Donna (Barlow) Bean and was born on June 2, 1959 in Oceanside, CA.  Barry was raised in the Milwaukee area and later the family moved to Elroy and then to New Lisbon.  Barry was a 1977 graduate of the New Lisbon High School.  Barry served his country by entering into the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1977 to 1980.  Barry was united in marriage to Kimberly Swierenga on December 13, 2012 in Freeport, IL.

Barry enjoyed cooking, bicycling, karaoke, and was passionate about cars. He was a dedicated patriot. He took great pride in having served his country and was a strong advocate for veterans. He, also, was proud of his Native American Heritage. However, his greatest joy was time spent with family playing cards or sitting at a campfire.

Barry worked in many different fields of industry. His first career was cooking and management in the service industry. His second and most rewarding career was working in the automobile industry as a Salesman and a Service Manager.  He spoke often of how he took great pride in providing quality service for his customers.

There is no doubt one would describe Barry as a rolling stone, he lived in many different areas of our country. Eventually he found roots when he reunited with his first love, Kim, married her and bought a home in his old neighborhood, where they have lived the past 3 years in Elroy, WI.

Barry is survived by his wife Kimberly and her children Tyler and Alissa all of Elroy, a sister Jeri (John) Mehne of New Lisbon, and a brother Rick (Shari) Bean of New Lisbon, and by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Barry's Life will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, at the first pavilion at Riverside Park in New Lisbon. Family and friends are welcome to gather together to share memories of Barry Bean. The Hare Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com
