I am so very sorry for your loss.
Psalm 34:18 says, "God is close to the broken-hearted, he saves those who are crushed in spirit."
May you please find comfort in knowing that he will provide the strength you need to cope with your great loss.

I'm sad to hear of Carl's passing, especially for you, Marion, but also for everyone that knew or was related to him. Working with him at Leers was always a lesson in comic relief. Not that he was a screw-off, but just smart, funny, and easy to get along with. He could do about anything, and almost always had a smile for anybody he saw. I say almost always had a smile because when he was working on a problem he would get what some would call a thousand mile stare, or you can see the smoke, or you could hear the gears grinding and you knew he was figuring and thinking as hard as he could until he he would think of what he had to do to solve the problem. I know he'll be missed, but hopefully we'll all get together by and by. See you later, Carl.

Thank you for the kind thoughts of remembering Carl. We had 27 years together, and many great memories. send me an e-mail sometime and I can tell you more about him and his family. I have always wanted to travel to NZ, and really tried to get Carl & Paul to come for some years, but it was one of those things we put off until now it is too late.
