Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Jim's family. While I did not know Jim personally, I did work for his father at the Wood Manufacturing Shop in New Lisbon, a very long time ago (mid 1960s) when I was in high school. Fred was a wonderful person to work for and looking at Jim's photo I see a strong resemblance in his features. I sense they were both really good men. I realize this message is beyond the time of any services, but I just saw the obituary information and felt I should send our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Penny, Jordan & Jon
When I first went to work at Holland in 1997, Jim was one of the very first to show interest (in me and my family) and offer any help in any way to a new guy. A quality of heart in a man who did the same for everyone who enjoyed the pleasure and gift of knowing Jim. Deb and I are crushed for you and family in losing such a great Man to all of us. His spirit that is now with us, and his life long path he left behind to follow, will live on forever in our hearts!! Hugs to all of you from Deb and I!!

I knew him since he was a little boy. He always spoke very highly of my dad's grocery store and the "delicious meat" and samples dad would let him try. Thank you for sharing Jim with all of us.

I met Jimmy the first day I was in New Lisbon (1962). Lived up the block from him and roomed together at WWTC. Jimmy was one of a kind. Whether you needed a favor or a laugh, he was always there. He found the perfect partner in Penny and Kristen and I love you both. Penny, I pray that the memories you have of Jim will surpass the sorrow you are feeling at this time.
