Joyce Tucker, 71

Joyce Tucker passed away Saturday June 10th 2017 at the U.W. Hospital in Madison.  She passed peacefully and in the presence of her family.   She was born April 21, 1946 in Mauston, Wisconsin.   Joyce was the first of eight children of Leo and Edna (Welton) Fike.  She was raised in the Mauston/Necedah area.  On August 22nd 1964 she was united in marriage to Rolland Tucker to whom she was married to for 52 wonderful years.

As a homemaker, a wife, and a mother, she was strong, capable and tireless, always striving to make everything better and always available for anyone in need. Joyce was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed flower gardening.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially cherished every second spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, and going to the casino with her husband by her side.

She is survived by her beloved husband Rolland and her children and spouses; Connie (Randy) Randall, New Lisbon, Donna (John) Pohlmann, Reedsburg, Lisa (Scott) Sutton, New Lisbon and Mike (Tina) Tucker, New Lisbon.  She had 7 grandchildren she adored; Amanda, Mark, Matt, Dusty, Michael Jr., John Jr. and Michele and 8 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two brothers and five sisters. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 17, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Necedah Village Town Hall (101 Center St.), Necedah, WI.  A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1:00pm until the time of service.  Pastor Jeff Ruetten presiding.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
