Kevin H. Sink Sr., age 59, of Elroy, Wisconsin died on Thursday June 1, 2017, at his home. Kevin was the son of Edwin and Werna (Fontenot) Sink and was born on December 16, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Kevin graduated from Leo High School, in Fort Wayne, IN, in 1974. He joined the United States Air Force before graduation, and maintained a college education at the same time. Kevin was united in marriage to Deborah Doll, on May 27, 1978, in Auburn, Indiana. Kevin and his family later relocated to the Elroy area in 1986, and has been a part of the community since. He later became an Air Traffic Controller for the United States. Kevin retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years. He continued to work for Volk Field as a contractor as a Lan Administrator, retiring in 2012.
Kevin was a member of the Camp Douglas American Legion, and he was a Boy scout and Girl Scout Troop leader. Kevin enjoyed swimming, gardening, bicycling, and tinkering with everything.
Kevin is survived by, his wife Deborah Sink, of Elroy, 5 children, Kevin (Kristy) Sink Jr., of Monument, CO, April Sink, of New Lisbon, Steven (Cari) Hall, of Des Moines, IA, Diana Spillers-Koons, of Des Moines, IA, John Spillers, of Jacksonville, IL, a brother, Edwin D. Sink Jr., of Fort Wayne, IN, and by 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 5:30pm at the Hare Funeral Home (217W. Pearl St), New Lisbon, WI. Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00pm until the time of service. Military Honors will follow the service. Fr. Robert Letona presiding.
