Laura D. (Hale) Hemenway

Laura D. Hemenway of New Lisbon/ Mauston passed away on September 19th, 2018 at CrestView Nursing Home in New Lisbon.  Laura was 101 years old.  Laura was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Hale of Mauston, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Leonard C. Hemenway of New Lisbon, a grandson Kirk Hemenway of California, two sisters, LeeElla Hale of Mauston, Alma French and brother Bill Hale of Benton, Arkansas.

Laura's survivors include two sons, Len Hemenway (Pam) of Watertown, Ben Hemenway (Louise) of New Lisbon, and a daughter Audrey Kennett (Bob) of Florida.  She has four grandchildren; Kristopher, Chandra, Jennifer and Chad and seven great- grandchildren, Sophia, Harrison, Connor, Louie, Chase, Patrick and Will.

A memorial service celebrating Laura's life will be held at St. Paul's Catholic cemetery on a date to be determined.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.  Online condolences available at www.harefuneralhome.com
