Renee D. Hoffman, age 63 of Mauston, WI., died on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI.  Renee was the daughter of Jack and Arlene (Jurkowski) Ripley, and was born on June 5, 1954 in Mauston.  Renee attended Mauston High School.  She was later united in marriage to Randy Hoffman on December 5, 1972, at the United Methodist Church in Mauston.

Renee worked as a cook for Crest View Nursing Home in New Lisbon, Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston, Woodside Ranch in Mauston, and a few other places.  She was a care giver, and made sure her family and friends were always taken care of. 

Renee enjoyed playing BINGO, and most of all loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports.

Renee is survived by her husband Randy of Mauston, children, Shawn Hoffman of Mauston, Heather (Ray) Yates of Mauston, Brent (Jodi) Hoffman of Mauston, sisters, Kim (Gary) Schweinler, of Mauston, Kristi Hayes of Missouri, Melanie Ripley of Illinois, brothers, Richard (Diana) Ripley of North Carolina, Gary (Nancy) Ripley of Lancaster, Jack (Nancy) Ripley of Minnesota, 16 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.    She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Lance Ripley, a niece Kelly Ripley, and nephew Craig Ripley.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 1:00p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (401 Mansion St) in Mauston.  Relatives and friends may gather at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Saturday from 11:00a.m. until the time of service.  Fr.
