Robert William Froehlig, age 72 of Mauston, WI. died on Saturday May 18, 2019 at the Tomah VA Center in Tomah, WI.  Robert was the son of Robert E. and Bernice (Mudloff) Froehlig and was born on June 2, 1946, in Chicago Illinois. 

Robert lived in Chicago, then moved to Las Vegas, then to McHenry, IL, and moved to the Mauston/New Lisbon area in 1994.   Robert served in the US Army from 1966-1967.  He was a self-employed Carpenter. 

Robert enjoyed fishing, working on cars, tinkering on stuff, snowmobiling, and boating.  If it had a motor, he was sure to be using or fixing it. 

Robert is survived by his children, Steve Froehlig of New Lisbon, Jason (Erica) Froehlig of Mauston, 11 grandchildren, Seth, Linzie, Destiny, Talon, Dominick, Payton, Lexus, Kobie, Hailey, Shailynn, Tristan, a niece and nephew and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kenny Froehlig.
