Russell L. Molinaro, age 41, of Necedah, WI, died on Thursday January 3, 2019 as the result of a snowmobile accident near New Minor, WI. Russell is the son of Nick and Sharen (Steig) Molinaro and was born a New Year’s Eve baby on Dec. 31, 1977 in Kenosha, WI. Russell lived in Kenosha until the age of 9, when his family moved to the Necedah area in 1987.
He worked as a cook/bartender at his father’s business, Hwy21 Pub & Grub, and later at Crossroads Auto Sales in Necedah. Russell is the current owner of Big River Pawn & Guns in Necedah.
Russell and his companion Chelsea Saunders have a daughter Olivya Molinaro.
Fishing, hunting, camping, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley Slingshot, were all things that Russell liked to do. He loved spending time with his daughter Olivya teaching her how to fish and drive the snowmobile. Russell was always up for playing a round of pool. Russell was an expert marksman, and was a concealed carry instructor, and a certified range instructor.
He is survived by his parents, Nick and Sharen Molinaro of Necedah, his companion Chelsea Saunders and their daughter Olivya of Necedah, his sisters, Amie (Wesley) Groth of Chaseburg WI, Kristy (Mike) Williams of Necedah, and Heidi (Jody) Smith of Kenosha WI, and 2 Godchildren, GioVanni and Gage, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will also be missed by his hunting buddies, his dogs Hunter and Louie. Russell was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Shirley Steig, and Sam and Norma Molinaro, and a great uncle Tom Molinaro.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service and visitation at the New Lisbon Community Center (110 Welch Prairie Rd) on Saturday January 12, 2019, beginning at Noon until the 3:00 P.M. time of service. Assistant Pastor Dan Cox will preside.
