Thomas Lyle “Ike” Isaacson, age 53, of New Lisbon died on Saturday April 27, 2019 at the University Hospital in Madison. Ike was the son of Carl and Margaret (Reynolds) Isaacson and was born on February 20, 1966 in Waukegan, IL. Ike attended school at the New Lisbon Public Schools.
Ike was employed by the Fun Company in New Lisbon for 17 years. He also loved to play the guitar and sing, in which he was very good at. He liked wine, women, and song (Old Country Music). Another passion he received from his father was his love for motorcycles. He would often ride with his best friend Joel and get into all kinds of mischief. Ike was very proud to have served the city on the New Lisbon Fire Department for 26 years, until his health wouldn’t permit it anymore.
He is survived by his sister Lorraine Isaacson of New Lisbon, and by the Reynolds clan and the Isaacson family, and by many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W Pearl St.) in New Lisbon on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at the Hare Funeral Home at 1:00p.m. with Pastor Paul Shirek presiding. Burial will follow in the New Lisbon City Cemetery. Memorials may be given in Ike’s memory to the family for burial expenses. Following the service musicians are welcome to bring their instruments and join the family at Wonderly’s Country Bar in New Lisbon for fellowship, storytelling and song.
