William McDonald Obituary

William “Bill” McDonald, age 75, of Necedah passed away on Thursday, May 23,2019 at Crestview Nursing Home.  Bill was the son of Denton and Nealda (Faralli) McDonald and was born on September 25, 1943 in Beloit, WI.  Bill was raised and graduated from Beloit Memorial High School.

Bill was united in marriage to Nancy M. Smith on June 9, 1962 at the Methodist Church in Janesville, WI.

Bill and Nancy lived in Janesville for many years, while Bill worked for GM and later worked for Cretex Concrete Company as a field service representative for 25 years.  After Bill retired, they traveled to Las Vegas and lived there for several years.  Bill and Nancy settled in Necedah around 2010.

Bill enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his friends, line dancing, riding his motorcycle, and doing woodworking for friends and family, and building birdhouses.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of 56 years, son William L. (Gina) McDonald of Beloit WI, daughters Nanette (Chris) Fisher of Denver CO,  and Jodi (Mickey) Halverson of Janesville WI, 2 brothers, David (Claudia) McDonald of Rochester MN, and Brad (Pinky) McDonald of Thailand,  a sister Mary (Dwight) Dyer of Denver CO.

Grandchildren Kati (Cassie) Sympson, Stephanie Fisher and Adam Fisher.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St.) in New Lisbon, WI on Thursday May 30, 2019 from11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.  Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com
