Alan J. Mitchell

Alan Jeffrey Mitchell age 67 of Portage, WI died at Agrace Hospice in Madison, WI on August 20, 2020 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Alan was born on September 15, 1952, the fifth child of Charles J. Mitchell and Edith L. (Stickney) Mitchell.  He is survived by his two children, Jennifer and Jason.  He is further survived by two sisters, Mary Mitchell of Wild Rose, WI and Linda Morgan of Camp Douglas, WI, and three brothers, Dave Mitchell and Robert Mitchell of Baraboo, WI and Phil Mitchell of Aurora, CO.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Alan had a career in construction for many years.  He was also an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. 

There will be a Graveside service at the Camp Douglas Village Cemetery on Wednesday Sept. 2, 2020 at 11:00a.m.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.  Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com.
