Audrey Anderson Obituary

Audrey J. Anderson, age 85, of New Lisbon died on Saturday November 27, 2021, at her residences. Audrey was the daughter of Oscar and Jessie (Lawrence) Anderson and was born on April 18, 1936, in Mauston, WI. Audrey attended the New Lisbon Public Schools and graduated from NLHS in 1954, she then attended the Juneau County Teachers College for 2 years and received her teaching degree. She later attended numerous summer schools throughout her teaching career. Audrey started teaching at New Lisbon Public School in 1957, she taught elementary school grades 3 and 4, and retired in 1991.

Audrey is survived by a sister-in-law Betty Anderson of McFarland, WI, and by 2 nieces Terri Anderson of McFarland, WI and Lori Rowell of Ruskin FL, and by a cousin Ronald Lauden of New Lisbon, and by numerous other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Lawrence Anderson.

In accordance with Audrey’s wishes there will be no services. The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with cremation. Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com
