Charles Edward Ganther, age71, of Necedah, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022, at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI., with his wife Nancy and Stepdaughter Lisa Dahl at his side. Charles was the son of Richard and Josephine (Lesczynski) Ganther. Charles was raised in Necedah and graduated from Necedah High School in 1968. Charles was married to Janet Winker and later to Janice Cory. On September 14, 2004, he was united in marriage to Nancy Jean Allen in Mauston, WI.
Charles worked for Farnam Sealing Systems for 20 years, he also drove truck for a while for Croell Ready Mix, and later was a maintenance man for the Village of Necedah for 20 years.
Charles enjoyed going fishing, and hunting with family and friends. He enjoyed doing Karaoke at the Sportsman’s Bar in Necedah along with Old Milwaukee. He also did the Karaoke at the Veterans Hall in Necedah and Charles and Nancy would sing Karaoke nightly at their home. Charles had many horses throughout his life on his little hobby farm in Necedah.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of Necedah, stepdaughters: Amy Bezemek, Lori Bowe, Lisa Dahl, Jennifer O’Loughlin, Deana Gonzales, and a stepson Danny Corey, and by 7 grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his beloved dog “Bella”. He was preceded in death by his parents, by an infant stepdaughter Michelle Marie Bezemek, a brother Floyd Ganther, and a sister Joanne Ganther.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at the Necedah Veterans Hall (105 Plum St) in Necedah. The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences are available at www.harefuneralhome.com
