Charles H. Setzer

Charles “Chuck” H. Setzer age 81 of New Lisbon, WI. passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, surrounded by his family.  Chuck was the son of Herbert and Winifred (Bowen) Setzer and was born on September 21, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI.  He attended Muskego High School and Waukesha High School, graduating in 1958.

Chuck was united in marriage to Patricia A. Stowell on October 24, 1959, at the Baptist Church in Big Bend, WI.  Chuck was a Barber by trade and opened a Barber Shop in West Allis in 1963.  Chuck and Patricia lived in New Berlin, WI for 12 years, West Allis for four years, then Sussex, WI for 12 years and then moving to New Lisbon is 2004 when Chuck retired.

Chuck loved to be outside, he enjoyed fishing and cutting wood.  He liked to go bowling and in his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Chuck is survived by his wife Patricia of New Lisbon, children, Shawn (Dawn) Setzer of Rosendale, Timothy Setzer of Elroy, Tracy Wollin of Brentwood, CA., a sister Kay (John) Mudrock of West Allis, a brother Donald Setzer of West Allis, grandchildren, Jordan Wollin, Jacob Wollin, Kourttnie Setzer and by many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lee Setzer. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2002, at 2:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church (525 S. Washington St.) in New Lisbon with Pastor James Appel presiding.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the church on Saturday from 1:00p.m. until the time of service.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences available at www.harefuneralhome.com
