Deanna M. Shanahan age 84 of Warrens, WI died on Saturday June 10, 2023, at her home. Deanna was the daughter of Walter and Viola (Schmidt) Roghan and was born April 25, 1939, in Milwaukee, WI. Deanna was raised and went to school and graduated from Juneau High School in Milwaukee.
Deanna has lived in New Berlin, Montello, Westfield where she had a horse ranch called the Shandee Ranch. And later moved to Camp Douglas and owned Shanahan’s Camp Inn in the late 70’s and early 80’s, and then to Town of Cutler and then to Warrens in 1993. She was employed by Toro of Tomah, WI for 15 years. Deanna had a passion for horses, she loved to go to horse shows and rodeos. Her other passion was going to garage sales, which she never passed up. And going bowling. Deanna was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, especially Brett Favre.
Deanna is survived by her partner of 43 years Dale Heacox of Warrens, WI, her children; Tim (Sandy Shanahan of New Lisbon, Terri (Jack) Bailey of Bullhead City, AZ, Kevin “Cubby” (Annette) Shanahan of Reedsburg WI, and Carol (Kevin) Hancock of Mauston, and by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Arlene and Janice, and a grandson Isaiah Coleman.
