G. Naomi (Dunn) Berliner

G. Naomi Berliner “Me-Ma” age 89 of Necedah, WI died on February 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Naomi was the daughter of Lonnie and Fannie Lou (Edenfield) Dunn and was born on July 17, 1932 in Midway, Georgia. 

Naomi was a 1949 graduate of Bradwell Institute.  She then furthered her education and received a degree in Teaching, where she taught school at Groves High School in Garden City, GA.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Port Wentworth, GA for over 20 years. She enjoyed helping with the shrimp dinners every year at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.  Naomi loved her dog Sassy and was definitely loved by all who knew her. 

Naomi is survived by her children, Linda Shere of Lancaster, CA., Danny M. (Jeannie) Brown of Pembroke, GA., David (Joyce) Brown of Franklin, NC., Anna Maria (Billy) May of Necedah, WI., a brother, James Dunn of Rome, GA., 11 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and by many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Dewee Evans, daughter Faye Smith and grandson Ben Warren.

Naomi will be laid to rest in Hinesville, GA., in May. A Memorial Mass is being planned and will be announced at a later date.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting they family with arrangements.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
