Jerald T. Beck “JB”, age 67 of Camp Douglas, WI passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at his home with his family and friends.  He was born to Hans and Irene (Churchill) Beck on February 28, 1953 in Tomah, WI.  He was a member of the Tomah High School graduating class of 1971.

Jerald was united in marriage to Rose Steidl on March 25, 2003, but long-life partners for 25 years.  Jerald spent his life hunting, jeep riding, and enjoyed his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jerald worked as a maintenance man for the Village of Camp Douglas for 35 years.  J.B. loved to work on projects he had in his garage.  He had 2 dogs he left behind that he loved like his children.  He enjoyed riding his jeep, motorcycle and in his later years, his moped.

He is survived by his wife Rose Beck of Camp Douglas, his step-children Jason (Tina) Gerke of New Lisbon, Traci (Kevin) Peterson of Warrens, sister Jean Quistorf of Camp Douglas, brother Pat Kelly of Reedsburg, brother-in-law Andy Minneker of Camp Douglas, 7 grandchildren, Jasmine Peterson, Tyler Peterson, Madelyn Phillips, Kole Peterson, Royce Gerke, Rylan Gerke, Rozlynn Gerke, 2 great grandchildren, Axel Harris and Kayden Peterson, nephews Mike Olson of Camp Douglas, Jeff (Jane) Olson of Camp Douglas, and by many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Joanne Minneker and Sarah (Scaffidi) Olson, brother-in-law Richard Olson, nephew Mark Olson and stepson Joseph Gerke.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date, with the burial in the Camp Douglas Village Cemetery.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences available at
