Jerome “Jerry” David, age 86 of Necedah died on Friday Dec. 3, 2021 at his residence.  Jerry was the son of John G. and Mary (Kasperak) David and was born on February 24, 1935 in Prairie du Chien, WI.  He was a 1952 graduate of the Prairie du Chien High School.

Jerry was united in marriage to Donna M. Brandl on May 13, 1971 in Illinois, they later moved to the Necedah area and have lived here for the past 54 years.  Jerry worked as a carpenter and machinist and also had a hobby farm.  He built 3 homes in Necedah including his own. He also built the Necedah Laundromat, J & S Liquor Store, and the Necedah Bus Barn. Jerry enjoyed playing the Banjo, he also built miniature Steam Engines and bird houses.

Jerry is survived by his wife Donna of Necedah,  their blended children, Cindy (Marty) Kriigel of Georgia, Doug (Terri) David of Lyndon Station WI,  Cheryl (Pete) Murphy of Necedah,  Craig (Ontesha) Gage of Santa Rosa CA,  Roc Gage of Necedah,  Rina (Mairo) Oliveira of La Crosse WI,  Jennifer (Jim) Buccholz of Bangor WI, John (Ana) David of Gainesville FL, and by 24 Grandchildren and 36 Great Grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son James,  a brother Robert and a sister Sr. Marge David.
