Nancy Eldean Morris, 90 of Camp Douglas passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Crestview Nursing Home in New Lisbon where she was surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 3, 1928 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to the late Hugh James McDonald and Augusta Lilly Spors.  Nancy married Donald Hugh Morris, June 11, 1949.

In her younger years, Nancy was a school teacher in the Mauston area.  She later worked for the Schultz Brothers Department Store, before her and her husband purchased and operated the Dairy Island in Mauston.

She enjoyed being a member of the Lone Rock Homemakers and received the Home Maker of the Year Award in 2003.  Nancy spent many hours making stuffed animals and donating them to various charities.  She also made many donated quilts.  Nancy loved children and was very involved with 4-H.  She had a huge heart and was involved in the Box Project, sending gifts to people in need.  She cherished and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, her door was always open to them.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Donald (Budd) Morris she was preceded in death by her brother Fred, Sister-in-law Alice McDonald and Brother-in-law Harvey Sorum. 

She leaves behind her Sisters, Gail Sorum of New Mexico and Carol McDonald of Mauston, Daughter Linda Morris of Madison, Son Douglas (Sandra) Morris of New Lisbon, Daughter Donna Morris of New Lisbon, Grandchildren, Christopher Morris-Cook, Corey (Jessie) Morris-Cook, Matthew Morris-Cook, Angela (Steve) Grogan, Amanda (Seth) Peter, Randy (Danica) Gordon, Rita Clough, Natalie Morris, Jassen (Allison) Hinchley, 14 great grandchildren,  along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 12:00PM at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St) in New Lisbon.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday at the Hare Funeral Home from 10:00AM until the time of service.  Burial will take place in the Orange Township Cemetery.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
