Ricky R. Reynolds, age 64, of Kendall, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on Monday, January 8, 2024, He was the son of LaVern H. and Dolly D. (Lutz) Reynolds, and was born on July 18, 1959, in Duluth, Minnesota.
Ricky graduated from New Lisbon High School in 1977, marking the start of a dedicated career. For 39 years, he committed his time and skills as a coil line operator at Leer Manufacturing, retiring in 2022.
Ricky's life was one marked by his passion for the outdoors; he loved deer hunting, especially with his granddaughter Paige and fishing, finding peace and joy in the natural beauty of Wisconsin's landscapes. He was an enthusiast who enjoyed working on and restoring cars, a hobby that showcased his meticulous nature and patience. Rick also enjoyed building model cars.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Reynolds, of Kendall; his children, Jennifer Reynolds (Wayne Gilson) of New Lisbon, Abraham (Cari) Vanseth of Galesville, and Christian (Claire) Vanseth of Rosemount, Minnesota. He is further survived by his brother, Roy Reynolds of Wisconsin, half-brother Bobby Reynolds of Golden, Colorado, and his adored grandchildren, Nyssa, Ben, Salena, Paige, Alex, as well as a great-grandson, Tyrael, and by many other relatives and friends.
Ricky's passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will be cherished and celebrated for the warmth and love he so freely gave. He was a man who built a life not on material possessions but on the moments that matter most—time spent with family, shared laughter, and the quiet contentment of a life well-lived. Ricky's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through the cherished memories he has left behind.
Funeral Services will take place on Sunday, January 14th, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St.) in New Lisbon. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday at the Hare Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service. Rev. Carolyn Staats presiding.
