Ronald J. Baumgart

Ronald John Baumgart age 51 of Camp Douglas died on Sunday January 17, 2021 as the result of a skid-steer accident.  Ron was the son of John and Sandra (Larson) Baumgart and was born on May 20, 1969 in Adams, WI.  Ron attended the New Lisbon Public Schools and graduated in 1987.  Ron entered into the U.S. Air Force on March 13, 1989 and served until March 12, 1993; he was stationed in Anchorage Alaska.  While in Anchorage Ron was united in marriage to Wendy M. Wallace, on February 11, 1991, Wendy was also in the U.S. Air Force.  After their term in the military Ron and Wendy moved back to Juneau County Wisconsin and have been here since.

Ron enjoyed farming and helping out on odd jobs and fixing things like tractors.  He liked to cut wood with his father, and to hunt with his family.  Most of all Ron loved his wife and children.

Ron is survived by his wife Wendy of Camp Douglas, his children; Ashley, Ethan and Sabrina all of Camp Douglas, his father and stepmother John and Sandy Baumgart of Camp Douglas, his sister Ronda (Jason) Gosda of Camp Douglas, a niece Amy Gosda and nephew John Gosda both of Camp Douglas, and by other relatives and many friends.  Ron was preceded in death by his mother Sandra A.(Larson) Baumgart in 2013.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm at the Opera House in New Lisbon.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.  Online condolences available at www.harefuneralhome.com.
