Susan J. (Peterson) Johnston

Susan J. Johnston, age 47 of Warrens, WI died on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Tomah Nursing and Rehab in Tomah.  Susan was the daughter of Vernon J. and Sandra K. (Slater) Peterson and was born on March 13, 1973 in Mauston, WI. 

Susan was raised in the New Lisbon area, and later moved to Warrens.  She was a graduated in 1993 from Tomah High School.  She was united in marriage to Edward J. Johnston on August 13, 1994 at the Open Door Baptist Church in Tomah. 

Susan had a love of animals.  She enjoyed crafts, camping, horses, and liked unicorns. 

Susan is survived by her husband Edward of Warrens, her father, Vernon Peterson of Warrens, a sister, Amanda (Frank) Johnston of Tomah, brothers, John and Steve Peterson of Warrens, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother and a son Mickylee John Johnston.

A private family graveside service will take place Friday, May 8th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mather, WI.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.  Online condolences available at www.harefuneralhome.com
