Virginia Strege Obituary

Virginia M. Strege age 102, of Camp Douglas, WI died on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Crestview Nursing Home in New Lisbon.  Virginia was the daughter of Earl and Agnes (Nash) Stickney and was born on December 21, 1915.  Virginia was married to Howard O. Strege, and he preceded her in death in 1986. 

Virginia enjoyed latch hook, cat figures, yard sales, feeding the squirrels and loved her cat Dingy.  She loved to walk and visit with people.  She also enjoyed taking care of people. 

Virginia is survived by her Granddaughter, Jennifer (Dean) Heyen of Greenview, IL, a Grandson, Jeffrey S. Knutson of Chicago, IL, a Great Granddaughter, Evelyn Jane Heyen of Greenview, and a Great Grandson, Jacob Dean Heyen of Greenview.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Leo L. Stickney and Edward Stickney, and her daughter Debra L. Wilson in 2005. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11:30AM at the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon (217 W. Pearl St).  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday at the Hare Funeral Home from 9:30AM until the time of service.  Burial will take place in the Camp Douglas Village Cemetery.  The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with services.  Online condolences available at www.harefuneralhome.com
