New Lisbon – Harold V. Davis, age 86 went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 8, 2016.  He was born in Mora, Minnesota on October 31, 1929 to Arlo B. and Eva (O’Dell) Davis.  Eva died as a result of childbirth.  Harold was raised by Arlo and Adeline (Enderle) Davis.  He attended Mauston and New Lisbon schools and graduated from New Lisbon High School in 1948.  He was united in marriage to Janice Cure on October 28, 1950.  Residing in Mauston and New Lisbon, he was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, New Lisbon and attended Bible Baptist Church, Mauston.  He worked at Leer Manufacturing for over 35 years.

Survivors include his wife Janice, five children, Patricia (Rodney, deceased) Nuttall, John (Reneé) Davis, Jeffrey (Marilyn) Davis, Peggy (Donald) Robinson and Roy (Renae) Davis; two sisters Lynda (Glenn) Cummings and Mary (Fred) Baum; 16 grandchildren, Pamela (Jerry) Long, Steven (Jennifer) Nuttall, Paul (Melody) Nuttall, Jason (Katie) Nuttall, John Davis (fiancé Michelle), Brooke Davis, Destiny Davis, Lauren Davis, Benjamin (Sheila) Davis, Sarah (Gregg) Gavinski, Lisa (Gabriel) Alfaro, De Anna (David) Walker, Darin (Stephanie) Robinson, Donna (Tony) Melillo, Paige Davis and Rob Davis; 23 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church (525 S. Washington St), New Lisbon.  Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service.  Pastor Delbert Oatsvall presiding.  Burial will be in the New Lisbon City Cemetery.  Online guestbook available at www.harefuneralhome.com
